Embassy of Azerbaijan in Pakistan organizes an event in National Library

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: The Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Pakistan organized an event in the National Library of Pakistan on the occasion of October 18 – Independence Day.
It was told by the embassy of Azerbaijan in Pakistan that Ambassador Khazar Farhadov spoke at the event and informed the employees of the National Library of Pakistan as well as Pakistani students about the Independence Day.
The ambassador said that in the first years of independence, Azerbaijan was on the verge of civil war and losing its independence, economic and political instability reigned in the country. It was during that difficult period that the National Leader Heydar Aliyev returned to Azerbaijan at the request of the Azerbaijani people and came to power in 1993. Khazar Farhadov noted that the Great Leader eliminated the chaos and anarchy prevailing in the country, economic and political difficulties and determined the new development path of independent Azerbaijan. , as a result of his far-sighted policy, drew attention to the fact that the independence of Azerbaijan is eternal and unshakable.

Khazar Farhadov said that the far-sighted policy founded by Great Leader Heydar Aliyev is being successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev and stressed that under his leadership, Azerbaijan has become one of the fastest developing countries in the world in all fields. Ambassador Commander-in-Chief of the Azerbaijan Armed Forces, President Ilham Aliyev, our glorious army in 2020 ended Armenia’s 30-year-long aggression policy and ensured our territorial integrity in 44 days, local anti-terrorist measures in Karabakh, large-scale reconstruction in our territories freed from occupation. and construction works, the Great Return program, the steps taken by Azerbaijan in the direction of establishing peace in the region and the reintegration of Azerbaijani citizens of Armenian origin living in Karabakh to our country, the history and activities of the West Azerbaijan Community, ethnic cleansing carried out against Azerbaijanis in different periods, as well as Azerbaijan-Pakistan relations.
