Amman, The Gulf Observer: On Wednesday, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan exchanged honorary orders during His Majesty the Sultan’s current State Visit to the Kingdom.

In a gesture of deep mutual respect and recognition, Sultan Haitham decorated King Abdullah II with the “Order of Al Said (Wisam Al-Said),” the highest Omani medal. This conferment signifies Sultan Haitham’s pride in the robust bilateral relations between Oman and Jordan and the strong fraternal bonds uniting their peoples.

Reciprocally, King Abdullah II presented Sultan Haitham with the “Order of Al-Hussein bin Ali,” the highest Jordanian medal. This award symbolizes Jordan’s pride in the longstanding historical ties between the two nations and the high level of affinity between the Omani and Jordanian peoples.
