Mina, The Gulf Observer: On behalf of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, who also serves as the supreme commander of the Saudi military forces, Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman received a distinguished gathering of guests at the Royal Court of Mina Palace on Sunday. Attendees included the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, princes, ministers, scholars, sheikhs, guests from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, commanders of the security and military sectors, and leaders of the Scout family participating in this year’s Hajj.

In his address, the Crown Prince praised the significant efforts made to serve the pilgrims, emphasizing the positive impact these efforts have had in allowing pilgrims to perform their rituals comfortably and in a spiritual atmosphere.

“We are pleased, on behalf of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, to congratulate you and all Muslims on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Adha, and we ask God to accept everyone’s good deeds and to return it to us all with goodness, security, and prosperity. The state, with all its relevant sectors, will continue to provide everything that will serve those who visit the Two Holy Mosques and help them perform their worship in a secure and safe atmosphere,” the Crown Prince said, expressing his hopes for continued success and prosperity, and praying for God’s blessings on everyone.

During the ceremony, Lt. Gen. Mohammed Al-Bassami, Director of Public Security and Chairman of the Hajj Security Committee, delivered a speech on behalf of the military sectors involved in the Hajj operation. Al-Bassami commended the state’s provision of comprehensive human and mechanical resources, as well as the integration of advanced artificial intelligence technology, which facilitated the smooth management of Hajj activities and enhanced services for the pilgrims. He highlighted the precision in executing security plans, which adhered to the highest standards of quality in planning and organization, contributing significantly to the success of this year’s Hajj.

Col. Mishal Al-Harithi recited a poem to mark the occasion, adding a cultural touch to the proceedings.

Following the formalities, the attendees joined the Crown Prince for lunch. The reception ceremony was attended by notable figures including Prince Mishal bin Majed, advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; Prince Saud bin Mishal, Deputy Emir of Makkah; Prince Turki bin Muhammad, Minister of State and Member of the Council of Ministers; Prince Saud bin Nahar, Governor of Taif; Prince Saud bin Abdullah, Governor of Jeddah; Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki, Minister of Sports; Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, Minister of Interior; Prince Abdullah bin Bandar, Minister of the National Guard; Prince Saud bin Salman, and Prince Khalid bin Salman, Minister of Defense.

This gathering underscored the ongoing commitment of Saudi Arabia to ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of all pilgrims, reinforcing the nation’s role as a gracious host to the millions who visit the Two Holy Mosques annually.
