Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: Muhammetmyrat Amanov emphasized Ashgabat’s commitment to the project’s quality execution.

Muhammetmyrat Amanov, CEO and Chairman of the Board of TAPI Pipeline Company Limited (the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India TAPI gas pipeline project), commented on issues related to the security of the large-scale project during the OGT-2024 international forum in Ashgabat. A correspondent from “SNG.Today” in Turkmenistan reported this.

“In principle, every major project faces challenges, and TAPI is no exception. Security issues in Afghanistan were relevant, but we can see that the security situation has significantly improved. This contributes to confident progress. In this regard, we are working closely with the local government and communities to ensure stability and progress,” said Amanov.

The company head pointed out that financial and logistical challenges are often integral to large-scale projects. He explained that the company is cooperating with international partners and investors to address all issues in this area promptly.

Elaborating on his statements, Muhammetmyrat Amanov informed that work on the project is being carried out according to the planned schedule.

“At present, the ongoing activities on the important section of the gas pipeline Arkadagyň ak ýoly (Serhetabat-Herat) include detailed engineering, staff, machinery mobilization, and procurement of necessary materials, such as line pipes and equipment. The seamless execution of the project is ensured here. This process highlights our commitment to the quality implementation of the project, resulting in economic benefits through job creation and infrastructure development,” emphasized Muhammetmyrat Amanov.
