Welcoming ceremony of Amir of Qatar takes place in Samarkand

Samarkand, The Gulf Observer: At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, arrives in Uzbekistan on a state visit.
On Tuesday, the main events of the visit began with the official welcoming ceremony of the Amir of Qatar, in the city of Samarkand.

A guard of honor was lined up on the square in front of the Congress Center.

The President of Uzbekistan warmly welcomed the distinguished guest and invited him to the podium.

The military band played the national anthems of the two countries.

The President of Uzbekistan and the Amir of State of Qatar walked around the guard of honor and greeted the members of the official delegation.

High-level negotiations have begun.
