Oman welcomes humanitarian truce agreement in Gaza
Muscat, The Gulf Observer: The Sultanate of Oman has welcomed the announcement of reaching a humanitarian truce agreement in Gaza.
Oman News Agency (ONA), reported that the Sultanate of Oman welcomed the announcement by the State of Qatar of reaching a humanitarian truce agreement in Gaza, exchanging a number of civilian prisoners, and allowing the entry of larger numbers of humanitarian convoys and relief aid into the Gaza Strip.
In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry today, it appreciated the joint mediation carried out by the State of Qatar and the Arab Republic of Egypt to achieve this, expressing its hope that this will lead to a permanent ceasefire and the resumption of real and just initiatives to achieve just and comprehensive peace.
