Bahraini Oil Minister recieves Schlumberger CEO
Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: Mohammed bin Mubarak Bin Dainah, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, met with Olivier Le Peuch, CEO of Schlumberger, on the sidelines of his participation in ADIPEC Exhibition and Conference 2023.
Mark Thomas, Group Chief Executive at Bapco Energies, Johann Pleininger, and Chief Executive of Bapco Upstream were present.
The meeting reviewed Schlumberger’s latest programmes and future plans, as well as discussed ways to boost cooperation and develop the energy sector in Bahrain.
The minister commended the company’s technical, technological, and consultation services in the areas of mining, exploration, pipe lines and others.
Le Peuch valued Bahrain’s support towards various international energy companies and working on developing more partnerships that support the growth and competitiveness of the oil, gas, and energy sector.
