Flags at Int'l Turkic Culture, Heritage Foundation lowered

Baku, The Gulf Observer: Flags of member and observer states were lowered to half-mast at the headquarters of the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation on the occasion of the national mourning declared due to the severe earthquakes that occurred in southeastern Türkiye. With this, the Foundation sent a message of solidarity to a founding member country of the organization, the Republic of Türkiye, and the brotherly Turkish people.

It should be noted that the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation issued a statement within the first hours of the disaster.

The statement reads: “We are deeply saddened to learn that a severe earthquake centered in Kahramanmaraş has occurred in Türkiye.

The International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation on this sad day affirms its solidarity with Türkiye, wishes God’s mercy on those who lost their lives as a result of the disaster, condolences to their families and relatives with deep sadness, as well as a speedy recovery to the injured.

As the Foundation, we look forward to the citizens under the rubble to be rescued safely and express readiness to provide the necessary assistance.
