GCC Secretary General meets with British Trade Commissioner

Dubai, The Gulf Observer: Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi met with British Trade Commissioner for the Middle East Simon Penny in Dubai on the side-lines of the participation in the World Government Summit 2023.

They discussed topics of common interests especially the promotion of trade exchange and investment between the GCC and the UK, and the follow-up of the Free Trade Agreement negotiations between the two sides.

The secretary general highlighted the importance of the GCC strategic partnership with the UK, which was announced at the joint summit held in Bahrain in December 2016, is activated through the implementation of joint action plans and summit decisions.
