Kazakhstan plans to build over 1,300 km of railways
Astana, The Gulf Observer: Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov held a sitting on the further development of the country’s transport and transit potential and activities of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy National Company, according to the reports of the Government’s press service.
In the near future Kazakhstan plans to build over 1,300 km of that will significantly increase the country’s transit potential, in particular, Dostyq-Moiynty, Bakhty-Ayagoz, Darbaza-Maktaaral railway lines.
As stated there, the current railway lines will be repaired, new carriages and engines will be acquired, railways stations and complexes will be renovated.
