228 Families Set for Resettlement in Azerbaijan’s Key Regions

Khankendi, The Gulf Observer: According to the approved relocation plan, a total of 228 families are scheduled to be resettled in Khojaly city, Karkijahan settlement, Malibayli village, and Umudlu village in the Aghdara region. This announcement was made by Elchin Yusubov, the special representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the city of Khankendi, as well as the Aghdara and Khojaly districts, during a scientific-practical conference on “The Role of Education and Law Enforcement Measures in Strengthening the Environment” held in Khankendi, as reported by media outlets.
Yusubov highlighted that 50 families have already been relocated to the city of Khojaly, with another 50 families set to be resettled in the near future. He further detailed that 20 families have so far been moved to Talish village in the Aghdara district. Additionally, plans are underway to relocate 190 families to the town of Sugovushan during September and October of this year. Yusubov emphasized that the number of resettled families will multiply significantly in the coming years.
This resettlement initiative is a crucial part of the government’s efforts to stabilize and develop these regions, ensuring better living conditions and fostering community growth.
