32 dead in India due to Cable Bridge Collapse
Dubai, The Gulf Observer: A cable bridge on the Machchu river in Gujarat’s Morbi area collapsed on Sunday hours after Indian Prime Minsiter Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for a C-295 transport aircraft manufacturing plant, in Vadodara. According to local hospital, at least 32 people have died in the incident till now.
Ambulances have reached the spot to carry injured to hospitals. Rescue operations are underway.
There were over 400 people on the bridge at the time. They fell in the Machchu river in the town of Morbi, local TV channel said.
