Abadan Haly Carpet Factory Celebrates Ninth Anniversary with Launch of New Çeper Collection

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: Abadan Haly Carpet Factory, the largest carpet manufacturer in Turkmenistan, marks its ninth anniversary with the unveiling of its new Çeper carpet collection. These newly introduced carpets boast unique designs and a remarkable density of 200,000 knots, highlighting the company’s commitment to innovation and quality.

The Çeper carpets are crafted from a blend of 50% polyester and 50% polypropylene, with the polypropylene sourced from the Turkmenbashi Oil Refinery. The factory also utilizes high-quality materials such as jute, dyes, synthetic fibers, and glue, imported from leading manufacturers in Turkey, Bangladesh, and Europe. This ensures a product that reflects both international standards and local resources.

Abadan Haly currently produces five distinct types of carpets: Nusay, Kerwenli, Gunesh, Yalkym, and the newly launched Çeper. Among these, Nusay is noted for its density and high quality, allowing the company to offer products across a wide range of price points to meet diverse customer preferences. With approximately 1,000 patterns in its collection, Abadan Haly caters to various tastes and interior design styles.

The factory’s success is largely attributed to its use of advanced technologies from Belgium and Germany, ensuring precision and excellence in every carpet produced. Holding ISO certifications, the company maintains the highest standards in production.

Employing around 700 people, Abadan Haly plays a crucial role in the local economy by creating jobs and driving economic growth. By combining traditional carpet weaving techniques with modern innovations, the factory creates products that merge Turkmenistan’s rich cultural heritage with contemporary design trends.

Founded in February 2016, Abadan Haly has set itself apart by producing carpets known not only for their density and thickness but also for their superior color stability, elegance, and durability. Located in Ashgabat, the factory continues to inspire homes and businesses across Turkmenistan, reinforcing its position as a leader in the domestic carpet industry while prioritizing craftsmanship, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
