Abdullah bin Zayed Hosts Reception During UNGA 79 in New York
New York, The Gulf Observer: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, hosted an official reception on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 79) in New York. The event took place at the UAE’s permanent mission headquarters to the UN.
The reception was attended by heads of state and government, foreign ministers from Gulf, Arab, and other international countries, as well as senior officials from global organizations and members of the UAE’s official delegation to UNGA.
In his welcoming remarks, Sheikh Abdullah reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to fostering cooperation and building partnerships with friendly and sisterly nations, aimed at ensuring the stability and prosperity of peoples and societies around the world. He conveyed his best wishes for success and constructive dialogue to all participants in the UNGA 79 sessions.
Sheikh Abdullah also emphasized the UAE’s pride in its longstanding partnership with the United Nations and its various institutions and programmes, highlighting the importance of continued collaboration to address global challenges.
