Action Expands Presence in Portugal with Two New Stores

Lisbon, The Gulf Observer: Low-cost retail chain Action has announced the opening of two new stores in Portugal, one in Vila Nova de Gaia and the other in Viana do Castelo, further strengthening its presence in the country.

According to the company, the expansion reflects Action’s commitment to meeting the growing demand and enthusiasm of Portuguese consumers. The brand, known for its affordable product range, boasts an average item price of less than two euros and introduces 150 new products weekly to cater to diverse customer preferences.

The second store in Vila Nova de Gaia opened on March 6th at Gaia Park in the Porto district, while the Viana do Castelo outlet is set to open on March 20th at Lima Retail Park.

Action’s General Director in Portugal, Sofia Mendoça, expressed pride in the rapid expansion, stating, “We are very pleased to open our first store in Viana do Castelo and another in Vila Nova de Gaia, just one year after we opened our first store in Portugal. With the addition of these new outlets, Action now operates 12 stores across Portugal, cementing its position as a leading low-cost retailer in the country.
