Afghanistan starts exporting products to Turkiye over Aqina dry port

Ankara, The Gulf Observer: Afghanistan has for the first time exported goods to Turkiye over land through Aqina dry port in northern Faryab province, Ariana news agency reported.
A convoy of trucks will travel overland through Turkmenistan and Iran to reach Turkey, the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation of Afghanistan said in a statement.
According to the report, Afghanistan’s domestic transport companies are handling the logistics.
Afghanistan’s railway network is currently connected to Turkmenistan’s railway system through two border points, Turghundi and Aqina.
