Amir of Qatar meets US Congress delegation
Doha, The Gulf Observer: The Amir of Qatar His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met at his office in Lusail Palace on Sunday morning with a delegation of the US Congress which included Republican Representative of Louisiana Julia Letlow, Republican Representative of Texas Lance Gooden, Republican Representative of Texas Jasmine Crockett and President of the US-Qatar Business Council and former member of the US Congress Scott Taylor, on the occasion of their visit to the country.
During the meeting, they discussed friendly relations and strategic cooperation between the State of Qatar and the United States of America, and the prospects for strengthening and developing them, in addition to exchanging views on regional and international developments of common concern.
