Arab, European journalists briefed on electoral process in Oman
Muscat, The Gulf Observer: The media delegation from the Gulf, Arab and European countries participating in the coverage of the municipal council elections for the third term was briefed on the progress of the electoral process and learned about the latest developments related to the voting process during their visit to the Ministry of Interior.
The delegation met with the members of the main committee to get acquainted with the progress of the electoral process and its results. During the visit, they were also briefed on the indicators and statistics related to the voting process through the indicators of the voters per hour and their distribution according to the states.
Laila bint Khalfan Al Manji, a member of the media team for the elections of municipal council members for the third term, reviewed in a visual presentation the qualitative shift, the development of services and the digital transformation in the course of the electoral process and the stages of the electoral process, starting from opening the registration door for the electoral register until the announcement of the final results.
Al Munji also touched on the “Intakhib” application, the voting steps, and the “Intekhab” application, which includes following up the sorting and announcing the results.
