Ashgabat to Host 25th International Exhibition and Conference “White City Ashgabat – 2026”

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: The capital of Turkmenistan will host the 25th International Multidisciplinary Exhibition and Conference “White City Ashgabat – 2026 (WCA 2026)” on May 24–25, 2026, according to official media reports on Sunday.

The event will be held under the motto “Architecture. Innovation. Sustainable Development.” and is expected to bring together government officials, international organizations, leading architectural and engineering companies, financial institutions, and industry experts from around the world.

According to the report, the forum aims to serve as a major platform for professional dialogue, knowledge exchange and the establishment of new international business partnerships. Organizers anticipate an increase in participation compared to previous years.

Last year’s WCA 2025 forum attracted more than 550 participants from over 30 countries, including representatives of government bodies, global companies, and international financial institutions.

One of the central themes of WCA 2026 will be the implementation of the Ashgabat Development Strategy 2045, which seeks to transform the city into a modern administrative, economic and cultural hub. The strategy focuses on introducing innovative urban planning solutions and improving environmental sustainability across the capital.

The event will also provide an important platform for presenting new investment projects, particularly in areas such as modern urban infrastructure and architecture, innovative construction technologies, sustainable energy systems, and the development of energy-efficient solutions.

Additional areas of focus include projects in the gas-chemical and chemical industries, the production of advanced construction materials, and the expansion of the industrial sector. The forum is also expected to facilitate the signing of new cooperation agreements and commercial contracts.

During the previous forum, the Ashgabat city administration signed a contract with Zoomlion Environmental Industry Co. Ltd. for the supply of 960 units of modern municipal equipment worth more than $54 million. In another major agreement, the state concern Türkmenhimiýa partnered with Daewoo Engineering & Construction to build a mineral fertilizer production complex in Turkmenabat valued at $682 million.

Organizers noted that detailed information about participation and registration for WCA 2026 is available on the forum’s official website.
