TESC 2025

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: On June 5, 2025, Ashgabat will host the International Scientific and Practical Conference on Environmental Aspects of Hydrocarbon Resources Extraction (TESC 2025), coinciding with World Environment Day. The event is organized by Turkmengaz and Turkmennebit, two key state energy concerns.

Under the theme “Reliable, Sustainable, Clean Energy,” the conference will serve as a premier platform for advancing innovation and fostering international collaboration in the sustainable development of the hydrocarbon sector.

TESC 2025 is expected to attract senior government officials, academic experts, industry leaders, and representatives of major international organizations, including the United Nations (UN), Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), World Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Asian Development Bank (ADB), Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), International Energy Agency (IEA), and International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA).

The event aims to integrate practical discussions into the global sustainability agenda, focusing on actionable strategies for environmentally responsible hydrocarbon extraction.

Registration is now open, and participation is free. The organizers are offering visa support for foreign delegates. Last year’s edition of the conference attracted 250 participants from 31 countries. Interested attendees can register via the official conference website.
