Azerbaijan and Armenia Hold Reciprocal Visits to Advance Border Delimitation and Connectivity Efforts

Baku, The Gulf Observer: Delegations from Azerbaijan and Armenia, led respectively by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mher Grigoryan, conducted reciprocal visits to each other’s territories on Friday as part of ongoing dialogue on border and regional cooperation.

The meetings were held in line with the agreements reached in Washington on August 8, 2025. The discussions focused on synchronizing activities related to the establishment of communications, addressing issues concerning the delimitation and demining of certain border sections, and advancing the restoration and construction of necessary infrastructure, along with defining timelines for implementation.

During the exchanges, the heads of both delegations also discussed the organization of the next meeting of the State Commission on the Delimitation of the State Border between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia, as well as the Commission on Delimitation of the State Border and Border Security between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
