Azerbaijan and Georgia Sign MoU to Enhance Parliamentary Cooperation

Baku, The Gulf Observer: During the official visit of Speaker of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis, Sahiba Gafarova, to Georgia, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Monday to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries’ legislative bodies.

The signing ceremony marked a significant step in promoting inter-parliamentary collaboration and was attended by Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan, and Shalva Papuashvili, Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia.

According to Azertag, the MoU aims to deepen mutual cooperation and further foster relations between the legislative authorities of Azerbaijan and Georgia.

Both parties expressed their commitment to utilizing the MoU as a platform to exchange experiences and strengthen legislative ties, thereby enhancing regional cooperation and partnership.
