Azerbaijan and Slovenia Sign MoU to Expand Cooperation in Natural Gas Supply
Baku, The Gulf Observer: The President of the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), Rovshan Najaf, met today with the Minister of the Environment, Climate, and Energy of the Republic of Slovenia, Bojan Kumer, SOCAR announced.
During the meeting, both parties expressed satisfaction with the successful development of energy sector relations between Azerbaijan and Slovenia. They highlighted the substantial potential for further cooperation in the natural gas supply sector.
A significant outcome of the meeting was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between SOCAR and Geoplin, Slovenia’s largest natural gas supply company. This MoU aims to enhance collaboration in the field of gas supply, marking a notable step forward in the energy partnership between the two nations.
