Azerbaijan and Türkiye Discuss Bilateral Cooperation and Regional Security
Baku, The Gulf Observer: Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov held a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan on February 8.
During the call, the ministers reviewed cooperation within the framework of the allied relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, including joint initiatives in international organizations and multilateral platforms. They also exchanged views on the regional security situation.
The discussions further covered developments in the Middle East, the Azerbaijan–Armenia reconciliation process, and other issues of mutual interest, underscoring the ongoing coordination between Baku and Ankara on regional and international matters.
