Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan Forge Sister City Ties, Boosting Cultural and Humanitarian Cooperation

Baku, The Gulf Observer: The establishment of sister city relations between Fuzuli in Azerbaijan and Arkadag in Turkmenistan is set to create new avenues for cultural and humanitarian cooperation, President Ilham Aliyev stated during a high-level trilateral meeting held in Turkmenbashi, Turkmenistan.
Highlighting the growing momentum in Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan relations, President Aliyev emphasized: “We will continue our joint efforts to develop these relations in all areas.” The initiative reflects a shared commitment to deepening bilateral and regional collaboration, fostering people-to-people ties, and expanding cooperation across cultural, humanitarian, and strategic domains.
The meeting brought together senior officials from Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan, underlining the countries’ dedication to strengthening regional partnerships and advancing mutually beneficial projects.
