Azerbaijan Army Holds Military Oath-Taking Ceremonies for Young Soldiers

Baku, The Gulf Observer: In line with the training plan for 2025, approved by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, solemn military oath-taking ceremonies for young soldiers were held across the Azerbaijan Army on August 17.

The ceremonies commenced with the ceremonial bringing of battle flags to the parade grounds, accompanied by military orchestras. The memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the Shehids, who sacrificed their lives for the independence, territorial integrity, and sovereignty of Azerbaijan, was honored with a minute of silence, followed by the performance of the National Anthem.

During the ceremonies, the young soldiers solemnly pledged allegiance to the Motherland, vowing to serve faithfully and uphold the sacred duty of defending Azerbaijan.

Representatives of the Ministry of Defense and commanders of military units addressed the events, congratulating the newly sworn soldiers and calling on them to remain loyal to the Motherland, the state, and the Commander-in-Chief. They emphasized the importance of exemplary service, mastering military equipment and weapons, enhancing combat readiness, and executing orders with precision while always being prepared to defend the nation’s territories.

Parents of the young servicemen also participated, expressing pride in their children’s honorable service and extending gratitude to the head of state and the Ministry of Defense leadership for ensuring the necessary conditions for their duty.

The ceremonies concluded with solemn marches of servicemen before the grandstand, symbolizing their commitment to the sacred mission of safeguarding Azerbaijan.
