Azerbaijan, Pakistan Reaffirm Close Coordination on Regional Matters

Baku, The Gulf Observer: Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov held a telephone conversation with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar to review bilateral relations and exchange views on key regional and international issues.

According to official sources, the discussion focused on matters arising from the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, as well as opportunities to further expand bilateral and multilateral cooperation across various sectors.

The two sides also deliberated on regional and global security issues of mutual interest, reaffirming their commitment to close coordination and collaboration at international forums.

During the call, Minister Bayramov and Deputy Prime Minister Dar exchanged perspectives on the latest developments in the Middle East and discussed issues related to the inaugural meeting of the Board of Peace held in Washington. Other matters of shared concern were also addressed.

Both leaders underscored the importance of maintaining high-level dialogue and strengthening cooperation to promote peace, stability and prosperity in their respective regions and beyond.
