Azerbaijan to Celebrate 150th Anniversary of Fatali Khan Khoyski
Baku, The Gulf Observer: President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Fatali Khan Khoyski, a distinguished politician, statesman, and the first Prime Minister of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (ADR).
Under the presidential decree, the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), the Ministry of Culture, and the Ministry of Science and Education have been tasked with preparing and implementing a comprehensive program of events dedicated to Khoyski’s legacy.
Fatali Khan Khoyski played a pivotal role in the establishment of the ADR in 1918, serving as one of its founders and its inaugural prime minister. The upcoming anniversary celebrations will pay tribute to his contributions to Azerbaijan’s statehood and political history.
