Azerbaijan to Perfectly Host COP29, Says ADNOC VP
Baku, The Gulf Observer: Azerbaijan is set to impeccably host the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), according to Ali Al Sayegh, Vice President of Internal, Culture & Change Communications at ADNOC (UAE). His statement was made during a speech at the Baku Energy Forum, an integral part of the ongoing Baku Energy Week, APA-Economics reports.
Reflecting on the successful hosting of COP28 by the UAE last year, Al Sayegh highlighted the positive impact the event had on advancing education regarding the energy transition in the UAE. “I know that Azerbaijan will perfectly host COP29,” he affirmed, expressing confidence in Azerbaijan’s capabilities and commitment to addressing global climate challenges.
