Azerbaijani Powerlifters Shine at European Youth and U15 Championships in Madrid

Baku, The Gulf Observer: Azerbaijani powerlifters delivered an impressive performance at the 2025 European Youth and U15 Championships held in Madrid, Spain, securing a total of seven medals—three gold and four silver.

Representing Team Azerbaijan, Musab Mammadtaghiyev, Latif Aliyev, and Muhammadali Mammadzada showcased exceptional strength and skill across their respective weight categories, contributing significantly to the national team’s success on the European stage.

Thanks to their outstanding achievements, Team Azerbaijan concluded the championship in third place in the overall medal standings, reaffirming the country’s growing prominence in international youth powerlifting.

The Azerbaijani Powerlifting Federation congratulated the athletes and their coaches for their dedication and efforts, highlighting this achievement as a testament to the country’s continued investment in youth sports development.
