Azerbaijan’s Healthcare System Enters New Stage of Development, President Aliyev Says

Baku, The Gulf Observer: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has announced that the country’s healthcare system has entered a new stage of development, highlighting significant advancements in medical infrastructure and research.

The remarks were made during an address to participants of the international scientific-practical congress marking the 90th anniversary of the Azerbaijan State Advanced Training Institute for Doctors named after Aziz Aliyev.

“In line with the goals of the state’s healthcare policy, medical facilities are being reconstructed in accordance with the most modern standards, while research is being actively promoted through the integration of science and practice, with the application of the latest achievements in medical technology,” President Aliyev said.

He emphasized the role of the Advanced Training Institute for Doctors in this progress, noting that the institute has made unique contributions to the development of Azerbaijan’s healthcare system by successfully fulfilling its mission of combining scientific innovation with practical medical training.

The President’s remarks underscore Azerbaijan’s ongoing commitment to modernizing healthcare infrastructure, advancing medical research, and strengthening the integration of science and practice in the health sector.
