Azerbaijan’s President Aliyev and First Lady Host Private Dinner for Russian President Putin
Baku, The Gulf Observer: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, along with First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, hosted a formal dinner at their residence in honor of Russian President Vladimir Putin, who arrived in Azerbaijan for a state visit on Sunday.
Upon his arrival at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, President Putin was greeted with a guard of honor, with the airport adorned with the national flags of both Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation. The welcoming delegation was led by First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Yagub Eyyubov and included Deputy Foreign Minister Samir Sharifov, among other high-ranking officials.
