Bahrain and Uzbekistan Foreign Ministers Discuss Bilateral Relations

New York, The Gulf Observer: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Bahrain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Bakhtiyor Saidov, Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan, on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. The meeting focused on strengthening the already distinguished relations between Bahrain and Uzbekistan and exploring ways to enhance cooperation in various fields to serve their mutual interests.

During the discussions, both ministers exchanged views on key regional developments, including the ongoing situation in the Gaza Strip and other regional conflicts. They also addressed a range of issues of common interest, reaffirming their commitment to collaborative efforts in promoting peace and stability.

The meeting was also attended by Ambassador Jamal Fares Al Rowaiei, Bahrain’s Permanent Representative to the UN, and Shaikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director General of Bilateral Relations at Bahrain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
