Bahrain, Egypt sign enhance space cooperation
Manama, The Gulf Observer: Bahrain’s Transportation and Telecommunications Minister Mohammed bin Thamer Al Kaabi and Egyptian Space Agency CEO Dr. Sherif Sedky signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the space sector.
The MoU was signed on the sidelines of the eighth meeting of the Arab Group for Space Cooperation held at Sakhir Air Base and attended by delegates from 14 Arab countries.
The MoU aims to reinforce cooperation between Bahrain and Egypt in the space sector, exchange information and expertise, establish joint projects, facilitate the development of human resources, and adopt initiatives that contribute to technological development, satellite construction, and the promotion of space technologies.
