Bahrain International eGovernment Forum 2023 to be held in October

Manama, The Gulf Observer: The 10th Bahrain International eGovernment Forum is set to take place from October 9th to 11th at Exhibition World Bahrain at the Grand Hall.

The forum is Organized by the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA), the event is held under the patronage of General Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Ministerial Committee for Information and Communication Technology (MCICT).

The forum’s theme, ‘AI: Reshaping Industries’, will explore how artificial intelligence stands at the forefront of advanced technologies, playing a pivotal role in accelerating progress, stimulating innovation, and fostering growth across diverse sectors. The discussions will cast a wide-ranging spotlight on the applications of AI, spanning domains such as financial technology, education, and government operations.

High-ranking government officials, representatives from the private sector, technology enthusiasts, and experts from public and private entities, civil society organizations, and academic institutions will participate in the forum.

The event will feature international speakers specializing in AI and Information Technology (IT). Additionally, it will serve as a platform to showcase initiatives, projects, and cutting-edge solutions, while highlighting international best practices.

This year’s forum features a comprehensive agenda that will delve into various aspects of AI and its impact on the future of business. The ethical and regulatory dimensions of AI will also be a focus, alongside a spotlight on the instrumental role of AI in driving digital transformation, particularly in terms of government services. The forum will also cast a spotlight on the far-reaching effects of AI on social and economic development, among other critical areas.

The inaugural COMEX Bahrain Technology Show 2023 will take place concurrently with the forum. The event is set to feature major international and regional companies, alongside government entities. Dedicated sections will be reserved for ICT organizations from the GCC, while others will feature diverse companies, tech entrepreneurs, and individual contributors operating within the technology landscape.
