Emerging Peacemakers Forum

Geneva, The Gulf Observer: Bahrain participated in the second edition of the Emerging Peacemakers Forum.

The forum is organized by the Muslim Council of Elders, under the Chairmanship of His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar in partnership with the World Council of Churches and the Rose Castle Foundation.

The event gathers more than 50 young people from around the world.

Ahmed Alkooheji, who represented Bahrain, affirmed that the forum, which he considers very important brings together youth from diverse religions, nationalities, and cultures and provides a real opportunity for young people from around the world to exchange their ideas and initiatives on promoting global peace.

He urged youth to participate in such initiatives and events that contribute to spreading the values of dialogue, tolerance, and coexistence.

Al Kooheji praised the council’s role in organizing such events that build constructive communication bridges among the youth of the world.
