Bahrain’s King Hosts Saudi Shoura Council Speaker at Al-Safriya Palace
Manama, The Gulf Observer: King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain received Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, Speaker of the Saudi Shoura Council, at Al-Safriya Palace in Manama on Thursday.
In their meeting, King Hamad lauded the enduring and robust relations between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, highlighting the significant cooperation and mutual coordination achieved to advance the interests and aspirations of both nations. He also conveyed his gratitude for King Salman’s efforts to further strengthen the historical bonds between the two kingdoms.
The King commended the pivotal roles played by Saudi Arabia’s Shoura Council and Bahrain’s Council of Representatives and Shoura Council in enhancing bilateral relations and supporting mutual development.
Additionally, King Hamad welcomed the recent signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Bahraini Council of Representatives and the Saudi Shoura Council. This MoU is aimed at expanding and fortifying cooperation frameworks, facilitating the exchange of expertise and experiences at legislative and parliamentary levels, and coordinating positions in various regional and international parliamentary forums.
