Bayramov and Lavrov Hold Telephone Talks on Azerbaijan-Russia Cooperation and Security Issues
Baku, The Gulf Observer: A telephone conversation took place between Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry reported.
The ministers held comprehensive discussions on the Azerbaijani-Russian bilateral and multilateral agenda, addressing various dimensions of political, economic, and humanitarian cooperation, as well as regional and international security matters.
They also exchanged views on the recent meeting of the Azerbaijan-Russia Intergovernmental State Commission on Economic Cooperation, which was held on August 2 in Astrakhan, and praised the positive outcomes of the session.
In addition, the two sides discussed a range of other issues of mutual concern, reaffirming their commitment to further strengthening cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia across multiple spheres.
