Jakarta, The Gulf Observer: The Indonesian National Alms Agency (Baznas) has joined hands with the International Networking for Humanitarian (INH) to distribute Ramadan meals to Palestinians seeking refuge in Gaza refugee camps during the holy month of Ramadan.

Mokhamad Mahdum, Deputy Head of Baznas, announced in a statement received on Sunday that Baznas, in partnership with INH, is actively distributing meals to Palestinians residing in Camp Jabaila (North Gaza) and Camp Mwasi (South Gaza). The food assistance has reached approximately 5000 Palestinian individuals, including vulnerable groups such as children and the elderly.

Mahdum affirmed that Baznas is committed to continuing the distribution of meals throughout Ramadan, reaffirming that this initiative is an integral part of Baznas’s annual Ramadan agenda and a flagship program of the agency during this sacred month.

He expressed optimism that the food aid distribution, in collaboration with INH, would provide relief and comfort to Palestinians facing hardships amid the siege by Israeli occupation forces.

Mahdum extended gratitude to all donors for their generosity and support towards assisting the Palestinian people in need.

Furthermore, Mahdum emphasized Baznas’s adherence to applicable regulations, Islamic law, and Indonesia’s security protocols in carrying out this humanitarian mission. He stressed that this act of compassion aligns with Baznas’s mission to positively impact lives and reach a broader population in need.

In conclusion, Mahdum conveyed blessings and prayers, hoping that these efforts would bring solace and blessings to all involved.
