Pakistan: Argentinan, South African envoys visit KPBOIT

Peshawar, The Gulf Observer: Ambassador of Argentina H.E. Mr. Leopoldo F. Sahores and High Commissioner of South Africa H.E. Mr. Madikiza visited KPBOIT on Friday, to call on Vice Chairman, KPBOIT Engr. Said Mahmud. The Vice Chairman, KPBOIT welcomed the delegation and briefed them on the aspects of investment and trade potential of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Vice Chairman also highlighted that bilateral trade cooperation and relations between Argentina, South Africa and Pakistan may further be extended. The delegation was also given a presentation by Acting CEO, KPBOIT on the sustainable projects and highlighted sector wise projects in SEZs, Tourism, Energy & Power, Mines & Minerals, ITs, Agriculture and other areas. He also highlighted the huge potential for investment in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including infrastructure projects in Public Private Partnership and Education Sector. In response H.E. Ambassadors of Argentina and South Africa applauded the efforts of KP-BOIT and pledged their supports and wider cooperation in various sectors of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. H.E. Ambassadors of Argentina further explained the importance of regional connectivity and people to people exchange program. Mr. Shahid Shinwari, and Muhammad Shahid Khan (members Board of KPBOIT) and representatives of KPEZDMC, SMEDA, SIDB, Vice President SCCI, Woman Entrepreneurs, Peshawar were also present on the occasion. At the end, the Vice Chairman presented Souvenirs and Traditional Turbine to the dignitaries.
