Chairman Uniplast Qatar Muhammad Khan and Chairman BRISD Qaiser Nawab Call on H.E. Shafizoda Saidjon, Chargé d’Affaires of Tajikistan

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: Muhammad Khan, Chairman of Uniplast Qatar and Shangrila Murree & Kashmir, along with Qaiser Nawab, Chairman of the Belt and Road Initiative for Sustainable Development (BRISD), called on H.E. Shafizoda Saidjon, Chargé d’Affaires of the Republic of Tajikistan, at the Embassy of Tajikistan in Islamabad.

The meeting explored wide-ranging opportunities for cooperation between Pakistan and Tajikistan, particularly in trade, tourism, investment, infrastructure, and Belt and Road projects.

H.E. Shafizoda Saidjon apprised the delegation of Tajikistan’s Special Economic Zones and the attractive opportunities available for foreign investors, including government incentives for high-rise construction projects. He shared the vision of the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Emomali Rahmon, aimed at transforming Tajikistan into a regional hub for connectivity, sustainable development, and economic growth.

Discussions also covered Pakistan–Tajikistan friendly relations, the potential for direct flights, easy visa procedures — including visa on arrival for Pakistanis — and significant opportunities in tourism, healthcare, academic exchanges, and bilateral trade expansion.

Muhammad Khan extended a warm invitation to H.E. Shafizoda Saidjon to visit Murree and Kashmir to experience their beauty and nature. The Ambassador appreciated the invitation, noting the similarities between the lush green mountains of Tajikistan and those in Murree and Kashmir, and shared details of Tajikistan’s own scenic tourist destinations and adventure sites located just hours from its capital.

The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to explore concrete avenues of collaboration to further strengthen bilateral ties in line with the vision of the leadership of both nations.
