China Delivers Emergency Humanitarian Medical Supplies to Lebanon
Beirut, The Gulf Observer: A plane carrying emergency humanitarian medical supplies from China arrived in Beirut on Monday, delivering critical aid to Lebanon amid ongoing regional tensions. The aircraft, which landed at Beirut International Airport at approximately 11:48 a.m. local time, transported a total of 3,601 boxes of medical supplies, including anesthetics, disposable tracheal intubation tubes, surgical gowns, and oxygen masks.
This assistance comes in response to a request from the Lebanese government for urgent medical support, following escalating conflicts between Lebanon and Israel. Earlier this month, the China International Development Cooperation Agency announced its commitment to providing these essential supplies to aid the Lebanese people during this challenging time.
The delivery underscores China’s ongoing efforts to support Lebanon in addressing humanitarian needs and reflects the strengthening ties between the two nations.
