China’s State Council Convenes Plenary Meeting to Discuss Draft Government Work Report

Beijing, The Gulf Observer: The State Council of the People’s Republic of China convened a plenary meeting on Sunday to discuss the draft government work report, a crucial document that will undergo deliberation at the upcoming annual session of the top legislature scheduled for March.
Presided over by Premier Li Qiang, the plenary meeting aimed to actively respond to public concerns, fully engage with various perspectives, and refine the draft government work report.
Premier Li emphasized the State Council’s commitment to fully implementing the decisions and directives of the Communist Party of China Central Committee while maintaining an action-oriented and results-driven approach. Reflecting on the past year, he noted that the State Council has demonstrated steadfast progress in its work, a trend that will persist as the council continues its duties.
With the conclusion of the Spring Festival, Premier Li urged all State Council departments to align their efforts with the directives of the Central Economic Work Conference. He underscored the importance of promoting high-quality development, calling for confidence, hard work, and a pioneering spirit in addressing practical challenges faced by enterprises and the general public.
