Chinese foreign minister meets visiting Japanese counterpart
Beijing, The Gulf Observer: Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Qin Gang met on Sunday with Japanese Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi, who is on a two-day visit to China.
It’s been three years since the last visit to China by a Japanese foreign minister.
This year marks the 45th anniversary of the signing of the China-Japan Treaty of Peace and Friendship. Ahead of the visit, China said that it is ready to strengthen dialogue and communication, deepen practical cooperation, and promote the building of constructive and stable relations that meet the requirements of the new era.
