Beijing, The Gulf Observer: In a resolute step towards environmental conservation, Chinese President Xi Jinping spearheaded a voluntary tree planting initiative in Beijing on Wednesday, emphasizing the imperative for collective nationwide endeavors in afforestation to foster the creation of a verdant China.
President Xi, also serving as the General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, articulated this vision during his participation in a tree planting event held in a forest park situated in Beijing’s Tongzhou District.
Accompanied by other esteemed leaders, including Li Qiang, Zhao Leji, Wang Huning, Cai Qi, Ding Xuexiang, Li Xi, and Han Zheng, President Xi arrived at the designated site in the morning and actively engaged in planting trees alongside local residents.
