Chinese Vice President Han Zheng Meets Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodriguez in Beijing

Beijing, The Gulf Observer: Chinese Vice President Han Zheng met with Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodriguez on Thursday, reaffirming the strong partnership between the two nations.

Han highlighted the solid friendship and trust shared by China and Venezuela, emphasizing their commitment to pursuing common development. He expressed China’s readiness to work with Venezuela to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, strengthen mutual support on core interests and major concerns, enhance practical cooperation, and promote greater progress in bilateral relations.

“China and Venezuela are good friends that trust each other and good partners seeking common development,” Han said. He also stressed the importance of upholding the shared interests of developing countries.

Rodriguez reiterated Venezuela’s firm adherence to the one-China principle and its support for China’s major global initiatives. She expressed Venezuela’s interest in learning from China’s successful governance experiences to advance bilateral cooperation and multilateral coordination.

She further condemned unilateral illegal sanctions and emphasized the need to safeguard national security, development, and international fairness and justice.
