EAU Hosts 5th International Aviation Management Conference

Dubai, The Gulf Observer: The 5th International Aviation Management Conference (IAMC), hosted by Emirates Aviation University (EAU), brought together over 300 aviation leaders, researchers, and global experts to discuss emerging trends, innovations, and strategies shaping the future of aviation.

Under the theme “Aviation Trends: Advancements, Regulations, and Sustainability,” the conference addressed key industry challenges and highlighted its ongoing transformation to meet future demands.

In his opening address, Professor Dr. Ahmad Al Ali, Vice Chancellor of EAU, emphasized the aviation sector’s readiness for rapid evolution. “Fuelled by demand, advances in sustainable practices, and cutting-edge technology, our industry is on the brink of transformation. This platform enables leaders and scholars to share aviation’s boldest and most imaginative ideas,” he stated.

Prominent keynote speakers included Colonel Engineer Marwan Mohammad Singel of Dubai Police, Mohamed Abubaker Farea of ICAO, Kashif Khalid of IATA, Professor Paul D. Williams from the University of Reading, and Professor Bijan Vasigh from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Emirates Group senior executives also shared their expertise, including dnata CEO Steve Allen and Oliver Grohmann, EVP of Human Resources at the Emirates Group.
