Egyptian President holds telephone call with PM of Pakistan
Cairo, The Gulf Observer: President Abdul Fattah El-Sisi had a telephone call with Shahbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Pakistan.
The Presidential Spokesman said that the President expressed his sincere condolences to the Government and people of Pakistan in the wake of losses in recent floods, assuring his, Egyptian government and people’s solidarity with Pakistan in the light of difficult circumstances and losses caused by these floods.
The President also praised the historic ties that unites the two countries, reaffirming the look forward to developing bilateral cooperation with Pakistan, exchanging experiences in various fields and consulting on various regional issues and topics of mutual interest.
On his part; PM Shahbaz Sharif expressed his gratitude for this noble gesture by the President and the Egyptian people, assuring his sovereignty the depth of the relations that unite the two countries and the two friendly peoples, and looking forward to exploring new horizons for fruitful cooperation between Egypt and Pakistan, especially in the field of climate change issue In the light of Egypt hosting the World Climate Summit in Sharm El Sheikh.
The Prime Minister also praised the Egyptian’s inspiring experience in various developmental spheres under the leadership of Mr. President, as well as its prudent and balanced moves in its regional surroundings as a hub of sound policy in the region.
