Erdogan Hosts TRNC PM Unal Ustel in Ankara
Ankara, The Gulf Observer: Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Thursday hosted Unal Ustel, Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), at the Presidential Complex in Ankara.
During the reception, Prime Minister Ustel congratulated President Erdogan on his birthday, expressing appreciation for his leadership and describing Türkiye as a strong country under his stewardship. He conveyed the TRNC’s confidence in and support for Türkiye’s role and influence.
The meeting was also attended by Cevdet Yilmaz, Vice President of Türkiye, and Hakan Fidan, Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Separately, Numan Kurtulmus, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, met in Ankara with Ziya Ozturkler, Speaker of the Assembly of the Republic of Northern Cyprus.
The high-level engagements underscored the close political coordination and longstanding ties between Türkiye and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
