Erdogan Receives Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs in Antalya

Antalya, The Gulf Observer: President of the Republic of Türkiye, His Excellency Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, received Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, on Friday on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
At the outset of the meeting, H.E. the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, to President Erdoğan, along with His Highness’s best wishes for the Turkish President’s continued health and happiness, and for the Turkish people’s continued progress and prosperity.
In return, H.E. President Erdoğan extended his greetings to His Highness the Amir, expressing his wishes for His Highness’s good health and well-being, and for the Qatari people’s further development and prosperity.
The meeting reaffirmed the deep-rooted and strategic ties between the two brotherly nations and explored avenues to strengthen and expand cooperation across various fields. Discussions also included the latest regional developments, with a particular focus on the ongoing situation in the Gaza Strip, the occupied Palestinian territories, and Syria. Both sides also exchanged views on a range of issues of mutual concern.
The meeting underscored the shared commitment of Qatar and Türkiye to continue coordination and dialogue in pursuit of regional stability and prosperity.
